Mladen had his public defense on October 30. His proposed PhD topic was “Computer aided construction and semantic search of question and answer collections”. He successfully defended the PhD topic proposal.

We developed a plugin that enables the CADIAL search engine to be used through the unified N-Lex interface. This makes it possible for the users from across Europe to search Croatian legislation.

The most significant gathering of NLP researchers and practitioners in the region was held once again in Ljubljana, with a significant contribution from TakeLab.
